Two By Two

Mary and I were talking the other day about how the Walk With God Television Ministry reminded us of how when Jesus sent out His disciples two by two to preach His word. Most all of our friends in the ministry have come two by two. This is what the scripture says: "And He called unto Him the twelve, and began to send them forth two by two; and gave them power over evil spirits;" Six reasons two are better than one: To Help each other in test, loneliness, and encouragement (Rom. 15:14) To lift up when one falls, to be a balance in success (Gal. 6:2) To strengthen in weakness, when burdened (Rom. 15:1,2) For unity in prayer (Matt. 18:19) For protection in attack (Duet. 32:30) For confirmation of preaching (Matt. 18:16) The Walk With God Ministries have truly been blessed with the coming of two by two. We have husbands and wives, sisters and brothers, and friends coming two by two. A few days ago, Mary and I had a visit from two old friends, sisters. Before they left, they told us how the television program had touched them and that they wanted to leave a donation for the ministries. They had come two by two.
